Not discounting tips and tricks. Use what suits, (turn off phone, avoid Twitter…).
The story so far has been about avoidance of temptation to maintain focus. The situation (not getting work accomplished) also has a lack of focus skills component.

Learn and practice a focusing meditation is one way. During your practice time let the bunnies hop by. Let them go. Then go back to your focus point — breath, sound… Again, again, and again… back to the focus point letting go of the happily hopping bunnies.
Repeat as your brain is rewired.
BTW I am not suggesting building magic castles or engaging in the relaxation response. And no damn music either.
No apps required, err a timer is useful… windup kitchen or your phone
